The focus of Lifelike is the practical and possible applications and inherencies that emerge as a byproduct of the hybridization of painting and digital technologies. To address concerns that have arisen from the ubiquitous presence and influence of digital technologies on design, preestablished notions of medium-specificity and transcendental experience have been applied to such technologies in an effort to understand the ramifications and possibilities of new mediums and new forms of interaction.
